Our stand at RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year has just gained a 3-star award for its appearance, thanks in part to the beautiful planter provided by nursery Hortus Loci. Here we list those plants included:

Orlaya grandiflora
Gorgeous umbelliferous annual with finely dissected leaves and white flowers forming a flat umbel top with small inner flowers and larger outer flowers. Grows in full sun in well drained soil. Height 45-75cm.

Bunium bulbocastanum
Known primarily for its edible parts - its common name is earth pignut or earth chestnut highlighting its edible tuber but the leaves and seeds can also be eaten, Bunium bulbocastanum is gaining popularity as another choice umbellifer for the garden. Perennial and with small white umbels and fine foliage. Height 45cm. (Not fully open in our planter but visible in front of the iris)

Ranunculus aconitifolius 'Flore' Pleno' AGM
This hardy, clump-forming ornamental has exquisite little, double, white buttercups borne on widely branching stems. Also known as white batchelor's buttons. Happy in sun or semi-shade. Height 45cm.

Papaver dubium subsp. lecoqii 'Albiflorum'
Annual poppy with small pink flowers on long stems with a black or dark purple marking at the base of each petal. Height 60cm.

Hesperis steveniana
Not widely known, this interesting compact species of sweet rocket has clusters of big, scented lilac-blue flowers in April/May. Biennial, grows in partial shade. Height 60-90cm.

Iris 'Pansy Purple'
Gorgeous, dark purple, velvety-looking, Siberian iris. Grow in full sun. Height 60-90cm.

Geum 'Mai Tai' (Cocktails Series)
Ruffled, semi-double flowers in soft peach tinged with red that open from purple buds. The stems are also a striking red colour making it an interesting addtition to the planter where its stems can be appreciated. Long flowerer from June through to September. Likes full sun. Height 45cm.

The wooden planter
The wooden planter was designed exclusively for Hortus Loci and is made from aged wood to ensure the best structure, look and texture. The wood is sourced from forests in Turkey approved by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and can be painted to suit your scheme.

Hortu Loci
Hortus Loci is both a retail and wholesale nursery renowned for working with landscpae architects and garden designs to provide a wide range of perennials, shrubs, trees and hedging. This year at Chelsea Flower Show they have provided plants for 11 gardens in their entirity, which has mean growing thousands of plants at the nursery back in Hampshire.
