Each year, visitors to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show have the chance to vote on the gardens they loved the most. Those with the most public votes will receive the coveted BBC / RHS People’s Choice Award for their category.
This year, people could vote for their favourite garden in four categories: Large Show Gardens, Small Show Gardens, Balcony and Container Gardens and All About Plants Gardens.

Winners of the People's Choice Awards 2026
Large Show Garden
Winner: Parkinson's UK - A Garden for Every Parkinson's Journey designed by Arit Anderson
Although Arit Anderson has created feature gardens at Chelsea before, this is her first judged show garden. Her sister has Parkinson’s, so she has some understanding of the neurodegenerative disorder, but the garden was still designed in collaboration with the community it hopes to support. “The whole garden started with a workshop with people who had Parkinson’s who were gardeners,” she explains, “because we felt we had to make sure we understood their needs.” It has been awarded the People's Choice in the Large Show Gardens Category at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026.

Small Show Garden
Winner: Trussell's Together Garden designed by Rob Hardy
