Andromeda Botanic Gardens, Barbados
Andromeda Botanic Gardens in Barbados was founded in 1954 by Iris Bannochie, winner of numerous accolades including three Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medals. She created Andromeda as a private retreat and bequeathed it to the Barbados National Trust when she died in 1988. Andromeda is the only RHS Partner Garden in the West Indies and is comprised of numerous stunning gardens and an incredible collection of plants.
