National Gardening Week kicks off with video of Alan Titchmarsh and horticultural stars
National Gardening Week begins Monday 27 April 2020
This year's National Gardening Week has begun, with a video released by the RHS featuring gardening stars including Alan Titchmarsh, Carol Klein, Simon Lycett, Arit Anderson and Matt Pottage.

The video encourages the country to keep gardening and grow at home and to share images of what you are all doing from your back gardens, reminding that gardening can be good for your mental health. People can join in the week digitally by using the hashtag #NationalGardeningWeek.
Alan Titchmarsh said: “Plants and gardens have the power to uplift us and that is why we urge everyone to get involved in National Gardening Week this year, in whatever way they can. It is more important than ever that we savour the beauty of flowers and trees because gardens are a natural tonic that give us all a boost."
