There are five All About Plants gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026, including gardens from the Woodland Trust and the Bat Conservation Trust.

Introduced in 2022, the All About Plants gardens category champions the positive power of plants to improve livelihoods. In 2026, four are funded by the Project Giving Back scheme, and highlight unusual and specialist plants and specialist growers.

Each garden has been designed in collaboration with a UK charity to reflect their individual causes.

This garden will demonstrate how ancient woodlands are at a critical point for recovery. The garden will have a transitional zone, where conifers give way to a biodiverse wooded area which is able to naturally regenerate. The purpose of this garden is to show how thriving woodlands can re-emerge from plantation sites with careful stewardship.

The designer, Ashleigh Aylett, won Gold for her balcony garden at last year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Read more in our interview with Ashleigh.

Bats may not be the first creature you think of when it comes to encouraging wildlife into the garden, but this design from Melanie Hick and The Bat Conservation Trust aims to show how we can all support them in our own plots. Melanie has included naturalistic planting schemes to attract small insects and prey essential to bats' diets.

Plus, the rear boundary comes apart to make up bat boxes when the garden is relocated at the end of the show.

The garden also includes a diverse range of plants to mirror the variety of experiences young people bring.

Inspired by the imagined story of a mysteriously missing horticultural enthusiast who has left behind an extraordinary plant collection, Plant Heritage's garden features a treasure trove of jewel-toned plants amongst lush green foliage.

There is even a empty chair, so visitors can imagine what it would be like to become the plant collector for a day.

The idea behind Christina Cobb's garden, 'Time for Creativity', is encouraging visitors to separate themselves from technology in favour of hobbies that nourish the mind and boost wellbeing. To reflect this return to other pastimes, the plot will feature a soft landscape with vibrant planting and a peaceful seating area.

Perhaps the most notable feature is the walkthrough glasshouse, which will be stocked with books, paints, papers and fabrics.
