The fifteenth year of Italian garden show Orticolario, the international event celebrating a renewed relationship between humans and nature, will take place from October 2 to 5 in the setting of Villa Erba on Lake Como.

Gardens Illustrated has teamed up with Orticolario to offer the perfect prize for garden and horticultural lovers - one lucky person will win return economy class flights for two adults from a London airport to Milan, two nights B&B accommodation and two admission tickets to Orticolario garden show on Saturday 3 October including a VIP lunch at Villa Antica. Held just as the seasons tip from summer to autumn, Orticolario gathers together a range of rare, unusual and collectible plants, craftsmanship and design with 250 carefully selected exhibitors, talks, creative workshops, entertainment and seasonal food and drink.

The prize has a retail value of £1500. Flights are for two adults from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted or London City (subject to availability), to Milan Malpensa Airport. Outbound flights are Friday 3 October 2025, return flights Sunday 5 October 2025.
The lead traveller and guest must be aged 18 or over, prize is only valid for travel on specified dates, the winner and guest must make their own arrangements to and from their UK departure airport. No additional activities, meals, insurance or spending money is included.

Please note the following key restrictions and requirements:
• The lead traveller and their guest must be aged 18 or over.
• Prize is valid only for travel on the specified dates: 3–5 October 2025.
• The winner and their guest must make their own arrangements to and from the UK departure airport.
• No additional activities, meals, insurance, or spending money is included. Any other costs incurred (e.g., travel insurance, meals not listed, baggage fees) are the responsibility of the winner and their guest.
• The winner and their guest must have a valid passport and meet any entry requirements for travel to Italy.
• In the event that the winners are unable to travel due to circumstances beyond their control (including but not limited to force majeure events such as natural disasters, public health emergencies, or travel restrictions), they will instead be provided with access instructions for a virtual tour experience of Villa Antica, the historic lakeside residence of renowned Italian director Luchino Visconti, allowing them to explore its cultural and architectural significance from the comfort of their own home. - The winning entrant will be the first correct entry drawn at random from all the correct entries after the closing date. The Promoter’s decision as to the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into. The Promoter may share the details of the winner with the prize provider for the purposes of fulfilling/delivering the prize.
- The winner will be notified within 7 days of the close of the promotion by email. If the winner cannot be contacted, or fails to respond within 7 days of such notification being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner up, or to re-offer the prize in any future promotion.
- There is no cash alternative and the prize will not be transferable. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of the same or greater value.
