Gardens Illustrated has been shortlisted for four Garden Media Guild Awards in this year's awards, which celebrate the best of gardening media in the UK.

This year the magazine sees nods in Garden Publication of the year category, as well as Radio Broadcast or Podcast of the Year - for Talking Gardens - Brand Social Media Influencer of the Year. Content producer Molly Blair is a finalist in the New Talent of the Year category.

The annual Garden Media Guild awards celebrate the best in garden media communications, including writing, photography, videography, broadcasting, vlogging and social media. The awards are open to everyone in the garden media, not just GMG members.

This year the shortlist for Gordon Rae photographer of the year includes Gardens Illustrated photographers Jason Ingram, Clive Nichols and Marianne Majerus. Features photographer of the year also includes Gardens Illustrated contributors such as Anna Omiotek-Tott, Richard Bloom, Clive Nichols and Annaïck Guitteny.

Regular Gardens Illustrated contributors Paula McWaters and Jodie Jones have also been shortlisted in the Garden Writer of the Year category, for work published by Gardens Illustrated.

Last year's winners included Gardens Illustrated editor Stephanie Mahon for The Garden Book of the Year for her book Wild Gardens as well as nods to Gardens Illustrated photographers Jason Ingram and Richard Bloom.

The winners of the GMG awards will be announced following an awards lunch at the Savoy Theatre on 17 November.
