For anyone who delights in wine but also wants to know exactly how its tasting notes came to be, the Naked Wines Tasting Tour offers something genuinely different. Part tasting, part storytelling and part hands-on experience, this annual tour invites you to drink wine side-by-side with its makers and even step into their shoes.
Go from wine taster to winemaker
At last year's Tasting Tour, Peter from Manchester went from a wine sipper to a winemaker. His winning blend became a real wine, made in France alongside Naked Wines legend Benjamin Darnault.
This year's event offers you the same chance. At the Blending Lab you'll get the chance to work alongside expert winemakers, the Tofterup Brothers, to craft a white wine blend from scratch. If your blend wins the taste test, you'll receive a rare opportunity to co-design a wine with the brothers themselves, and the final bottle will actually be released on Naked Wines for everyone to buy.
Learn winemaking secrets from the experts
It's not often that you get the chance to talk to 30 independent winemakers and quiz them on their tips, tricks and vineyard secrets. Unlike other tasting tours, you won't just sip wines handed to you by a brand representative, you'll actually meet the people behind the grapes.
"The annual Tasting Tour is a wonderful opportunity for wine lovers to indulge, meet the winemakers and cement friendships." - Catherine
"If you love discovering new wines and winemakers, but want to try before you buy. This is an event you really do not want to miss out on." - Craig MacKay
