For anyone who delights in wine but also wants to know exactly how its tasting notes came to be, the Naked Wines Tasting Tour offers something genuinely different. Part tasting, part storytelling and part hands-on experience, this annual tour invites you to drink wine side-by-side with its makers and even step into their shoes.
Where is the Tasting Tour?
Each year Naked Wines loads 30 of its independent winemakers onto a bus and sends them across the UK, stopping in cities from Belfast to Brighton over June. Unlike other tasting tours, you won't just sip wines handed to you by a brand representative. You'll actually meet the people behind the grapes.
How much does it cost?
Tickets cost £35 and for Naked Wines Angels, that ticket price can be claimed back against wine purchases on the day. Those who join the Naked community will get £45 off their first order, plus exclusive Angel prices.
What's the atmosphere like?
The event is informal and inclusive. Questions are encouraged, whether you're a wine enthusiast or a casual drinker who wants to discover their next favourite blend.
How long does the event last?
Over two-and-a-half-hours you can cover everything from harvesting quirks to vineyard challenges to favourite food pairings.
Can I create my own wine?
At the Blending Lab you'll get the chance to work alongside expert winemakers, the Tofterup Brothers, to craft a white wine blend from scratch. The winning blend will co-design the final wine with the winemakers themselves before it's released on Naked Wines for everyone to buy.
