Printmaker, artist and illustrator Melvyn Evans’s new exhibition, Melvyn Evans: Imprinting the Land, is at Yorkshire Sculpture Park this November, featuring works that celebrate and explores the Yorkshire landscape and coastline.
The exhibition features original drawings, paintings and lino cut prints where Evans explores the sense of place through depictions of landmarks, monuments and fishing boats using strong, bold imagery.
To mark the opening of the free exhibition, which runs from 16 November 2019 to 23 February 2020, Gardens Illustrated is offering readers the chance to win a set of merchandise designed by Evans, as well as a limited edition print.

Evans studied illustration at Exeter College of Art and Design and spent a year at Goldsmiths College, London. His work has been widely exhibited throughout the UK including at the Royal Academy and Somerset House.

The full prize is: a bone china mug, softback notebook, book bag and a limited edition lino cut print.
